Logistics School with 1,313 students meets the needs of the current requirements for the logistics talents. Cultivating Ability and Applying Knowledge to Practice is our motto; Teaching & Learning for Application is the educational concept; Teaching and Training in Practical Situations, Coupling the College with the Community is the college's talents-cultivating mode, the aim of which is to cultivate the students' working abilities and improve the comprehensive abilities. The school offers specialized training in the Management of International Logistics, Customs Declaration and International Freight Transportation, Business Management (International Retailing) and so on.
　 The school has 60 faculties, including 30 full-time and 30 part-time teachers. In order to promote the school development and meet the teaching requirements, the school plans to employ many more professionals and experts. The school puts stress on the close cooperation with different enterprises for the major construction.
　 The Logistics Chamber of Commerce of Qingdao Economic and Technologic Development Zone was founded in Sept. 2005. Basing on the logistics chamber of commerce, the school has established the wide relationships with different logistics companies in Qingdao . At present the school has cooperated with some famous firms, such as Zhongchu Development Stock Co., Ltd ( Qingdao ), China Merchants International Terminal ( Qingdao ) Co.,Ltd., Qingdao Luhai International Logistics Co.,Ltd. The school has cooperated with more than 30 logistics companies for students' training and practice. In 2007, 4 million CNY has been invested to build the first-class logistics teaching and training bases, which will greatly improve the practical conditions.
