Located in the center of the city -- 17 Jintan Road, Shinan District, Qingdao, School of Education holds an outstanding geographic advantage in economic development. The school has three vocational majors: Preschool Education, Art Education and Human Recourses Management. It also offers undergraduate Chinese and music courses and an associate Preschool Education for adult students. In addition to its regular syllabus, the school is engaged in pre-job training for new teachers, backbone teachers and head teachers at primary and middle schools. It is also engaged in the psychological health education of the students.
　 The School has made great strides in internship. Its Psychology Department has signed internship agreements with 10 provincial model kindergartens, and its Arts and Literature and History Departments have established cooperative partnership with a number of enterprises. These provide adequate sites and guarantees for its students’ internships and lay a solid foundation for their future employment.
　 To meet the requirements of building a national exemplary vocational college, the School makes use of its advantages to develop channels for community services. Its efforts have a two-fold impact: the school conducts vocational skill training and conducts professional appraising for psychological consultants, infant education trainers, training of Chinese language teachers who teach foreigners, national professional Chinese language competence testing and training and human resources managers training; and the school utilizes its expertise and talent pool to offer sincere, professional services to the society. It offers a psychological consultant hot line service for higher vocational and technical students in Shandong Province and for primary and middle school students in Qingdao, which have gained good reputation. The school has won widespread recognition from leaders and teachers for its primary and middle school cooperative development program to improve the teaching of primary and middle school teacher.
