On September 19th, Dr. Piao Zhongxian, the former Korean general consul of Qingdao and the guest professor of our college, gave a report in the hall entitled “Successful examples of Korean Enterprises in China and How to Advance Competitiveness”. The Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of QTC, Mr. Song Yu was present at the report. The Deputy President Mr. Liu Jiamin chaired the meeting, and more than 180 teachers and students attended it.
Dr. Piao Zhongxian introduced the present situation and trends in the economic and commercial development of China and Korea. He also analyzed the major reason of Korean large enterprises entering China’s market such as Samsung, Modern and so on. He elaborated his views on Chinese and Korean enterprises how to advance their competitiveness. After the report, teachers from different schools and the students of Korean language discussed with Piao Zhongxian the present situation of Korean enterprises in Qingdao and the prospect of the students’ obtaining employment.
