QTC Host the Third Campus Culture Forum—Our QTC spirit

QTC hosted the third Campus Culture Forum—Our QTC Spirit on Sept. 21st. College leaders: Mr. Liu Zongjun, Mr. Song Yu, Mr. Liu Jiamin, Mrs. Cao Yonghui and Mr. Qin Chuan were present, Mr. Tan Sende presided over the forum. Teachers and students from different schools and departments attended the forum.
Mr. Liu Zongjun, Secretary of CPC Committee, said that this forum was a very important theoretical discussion to our QTC spirit and that all the teaching staff should take an active, passionate, practical and realistic attitude discussing the formation, development and influence of the QTC spirit connected with QTC’s reality. All the suggestions related to the carrying out of the QTC spirit is of great importance for the decision-making process of QTC. Mr. Liu Zongjun also mentioned that, the CPC Committee of QTC paid very close attentions to the discussion of QTC spirit, and the QTC spirit played an important part in the development of the college, which will bind the college together. The QTC spirit is the crystal of wisdom of all the teaching staff, and the practical and scientific fruit after Dr. Shi Zhongjian’s conclusion and general comments. The Forum is the first attempt to study, research, disseminate and put it into practical effect, promoting the rapid development of QTC. Only in that way can we achieve our ideal, which is to create a model vocational college at a higher level, a reality as well as the goal of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. Then we can provide more qualified personnel for the economy of Qindao, Shandong Province and China as well.
Ten teachers and students, include Mr. Lang Qingchun, Mrs. Liu Xin enunciated the intensive and extensive definition of the QTC spirit from the different angles such as philosophy, logistics, pedagogy, and sociology etc. They also discussed the relationship with higher vocational education, campus culture, schooling concept and the direction of college development. They communicated the concrete opinions and measures of the operation of the college in the process of carrying out the QTC spirit. The students representatives proposed a newsletter -Uplift QTC Spirit and Set Up Model Vocational College. |
