  The experts from the Netherlands directed a special training program on May 8th for participants of the second session training program of Nuffic in QTC.
  The performance of four trainees’ different role-playings fulfilled the requirements of Train the Trainers Program.
  The phase training aim of was to analyze the reasons for all the resistance or confusion caused through the application of CBE, thus to provide reasonable suggestions to the management team.
  The program imitated one situation that the teaching department of one university received one task to develop new project for external affairs officer. The project started September, and the new concept and measures in the teaching methodology are required to take into application by the university.   Three teachers as well as the project leader discussed the possibility of how to adopt a new teaching model with develop the curriculum of CBE. Four different roles of trainees which includes a department leader, a teacher with at least ten years experience of teaching, a teacher with five years teaching experience and a young teacher who has finished his/her study overseas and just joined a two month CBE training in Beijing are going to discuss this task and find the solution. The disagreements and debating between the old teacher with the new teacher, between the “conservative” and the “activist” was inevitable.
  The other trainees are divided into three groups, which represent the corresponding “performer”. The first group is for CBE, which need to pick up the reasons of supporting the application of CBE. The second group is against CBE, which need to pick up any information useful. The third group are asked to make a report to the management team through the observation of the discussion by using a most persuasive suggestion.
  Thanks to the wonderful performance on the stage, the three groups accomplished their jobs by collecting and analyzing the information from the discussion and wrote the final results on the paper then posted on the wall. But unfortunately the time for the training is up, the only thing they can do is waiting for the comments of the experts of Netherlands next training day. But the reflections of that kind of special training program will not end at that time.
