Qingdao Technical College attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation. Currently, the College has? cooperated in the field of education involving exchanges with about 50 colleges and universities from 20 countries and regions, such as the United States of America, Canada, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan etc. Among them 21 colleges or universities and educational institutes have established friendly relationship with the College, and has established 3 cooperative projects, namely; the Sino-Australian project of International Tourism and Hospitality, the Sino-PSB project and the Sino-France project.?
    The College has sent dozens of teaching staff for study and investigation to nearly 20 countries and regions, such as the United States of America, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea and Singapore etc. Now the College yearly receives nearly 40 visiting delegations from different countries and regions.
    In addition, the College has set up Taiwan Affairs Office and Hong Kong, Macau Affairs Office to actively enhance communication with interested parties in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. In December, 2004, a delegating of more than 70 people of Management Board from the Hong Kong College of Technology visited the College. In May, 2006, the College successfully hosted the Swan Lake photographic exhibition by Mr. Xie Mengxiong, the President of Shih Chien University, and during the exhibition, Ms Lin Chengzhi, President of the Kuomingdang (KMT) Central Review Presidium and former Vice-President of KMT, came to give a lecture to the college. Ms Lin Chengzhi visited the college again in September of the same year during her tour to Qingdao.
    The College is recognized as qualified to invite foreign scholars and admit international students. For the sake of improving the English level of both teachers and students, the College actively seeks to assimilate advanced schooling concepts and build an international teaching and learning atmosphere by recruiting foreign scholars and teachers from different countries.
