former Qingdao Workers' University was established in 1977 and the former Qingdao Education College in 1951. Tong Dizhou, a famous biologist and educator, and Lu Kanru, a master of National Studies, were once leaders of the college.
QTC is engaged in full-time vocational education to develop skills which are useful to our communities, giving consideration to the field of adult education, accreditation for Sino-foreign cooperative education as well as the training for headmasters and teachers from primary and middle schools.

such as the United States of America, Canada, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan etc. Among them 21 colleges or universities and educational institutes have established friendly relationship with the College, and has established 3 cooperative projects, namely; the Sino-Australian project of International Tourism and Hospitality, the Sino-PSB project and the Sino-France project.
